Wireless microphones and stage sound

Wireless microphones must work without dropouts, noise or surprises. We prepare them so that performers can focus solely on their performance.

About the service

When several wireless systems are in use at once, careful frequency planning, checking the venue for interference and fitting the microphones correctly on speakers and performers are essential.

On stage, we take care of tidy cabling, signal routing and monitors, so that performers can hear themselves and each other.

Before the event, we label and test every microphone and show speakers how to wear it correctly; during the event, we continuously monitor battery levels and the signal on every channel.

That way, speakers, hosts and performers can think about their performance rather than the technology.

How it works

Step by step.

  1. 01

    Microphone plan

Based on the programme, we decide on the type and number of microphones and the channel allocation.

  2. 02

    Frequency check

At the venue, we check for radio interference and set the frequencies.

  3. 03

    Fitting

We help speakers and performers put on their microphones and test them.

  4. 04

    Monitoring during the event

We keep an eye on batteries, signal and microphone changes between parts of the programme.

Questions about this service

What we are often asked.

All questions →
01 Which microphone should we choose: handheld, headset or lavalier?

A handheld microphone is the most reliable for speech and singing, a headset leaves the hands free, and a lavalier is the least noticeable. We advise based on the type of performance and the speaker’s preferences.

02 What if a battery runs out during the event?

We prepare the batteries before the event, change them during breaks and monitor their status throughout, so that this does not happen.

03 How many wireless microphones can we use at once?

The number depends on the event and the conditions at the venue. We agree on your needs in advance and take them into account when planning frequencies.
