We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).
02 / What data we process
- Enquiry data — your name, email address, the date and location of the event, the type of event and the content of your message, which you enter in the contact form or send us by email or phone.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, time of visit and the page requested, which the website host automatically records in server logs for security and operational purposes.
- Newsletter data — your email address and the time of sign-up and confirmation, if you subscribe to notifications about new blog posts.
- Analytics data — pseudonymised data about your visit (e.g. pages viewed, device type, approximate location), but only if you have expressly consented to this.
We do not collect special categories of personal data and ask that you do not send them to us.

04 / Retention period
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: no longer than 12 months from the last communication.
- Data relating to a concluded business transaction: until the limitation periods for bringing claims have expired.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years after the end of the financial year, as required by law.
- Server logs: generally up to 30 days.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
Once the retention period has expired, we delete the data or permanently anonymise it.
05 / Processors and recipients
We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for their own purposes. It is accessible only to carefully selected contracted processors who help us run our operations:
- the website and database hosting provider; this may involve the transfer of data to the USA on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses;
- the provider of email services and the form submission service;
- our accounting service (for issued invoices);
- Mapbox, Inc. (map on the Company page) — only when you load the map by clicking the button. Your IP address is then transferred to the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — only with your consent. This may involve the transfer of data to the USA on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
We have concluded data processing agreements with all processors.
06 / Notifications about new posts
You can subscribe to notifications about new blog posts with your email address. Your subscription only takes effect once you confirm it by clicking the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in). Without confirmation, we send you nothing.
We only send short notifications about new posts. Every message contains an unsubscribe link, which you can use to withdraw your consent at any time. You can also unsubscribe by emailing klemen@vojteh.si.
07 / Cookies and browser storage
We only use essential storage to make the site work. Analytics cookies are only enabled if you allow them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time:

08 / Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you may at any time request:
- access to your data and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
- erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restriction of processing;
- transfer of your data to another controller (data portability);
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- to withdraw your consent, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
Please send your request to klemen@vojteh.si. We will reply without undue delay and at the latest within one month.
If you believe that we are processing your data in breach of the law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si, www.ip-rs.si.
09 / Data security
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised persons who are bound by confidentiality have access to the data. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
10 / Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in legislation or in our services. The current version is always published on this page. This version is effective from 25 October 2026.
